Hi Mamabea

Not experience, but it is something I will think about. If I can do anything at all that will help another woman have a child while having treatment myself, I will.

From what I have read so far, when your own eggs are harvested for your treatment, half are taken away for the recipient. Some places also offer discounts on treatment for the egg donor, but I don't know how much this is or how it works to be honest.

thank you glastochick.

a good friend of mine and her DH are looking into different options at the mo and this is one of them.

They live in an area where IVF isn't available on NHS (unbelievable isn't it?). I saw an add from The London Women's Clinic advertising free/ discounted treatments for IVF/ICSI if they donated eggs.

Thanks again for your kind reply.

Pruners- thank you, some really interesting points!

seems that there is alot to consider.

My mate was pointed in the direction of The London Women's Clinic by another friend- will see what they say.
