cd 68 is it even worth ttc at the moment

You are probably aware of my depressing situation through reading my other posts.
I am so in the dark about things at the moment and although I have said on here that I feel a 2nd ds is not to be for me something is telling me to not give up yet.

I am currently on cd 68 with no period and my cycle has been all over the place since I started ttc.
Progesterone tests suggest I don,t ovulate.
Do you think I should lay off ttc at least until period decides to show again thats if it does.
I,m sorry I just don,t know what to do, I have no idea whats going on with my cycle where I am in it etc and I am really not sure what to do.
Am I wasting my time ttc during long cycles like this or should I continue ttc in case I suddenly ovulate at any time.
I am so sorry for yet another stupid post and for rambling.
Does anybody know whats happend in a long cycle like this some people have mentioned its an nonovlatory cycle if thats the right word and eventually a period will show as the womb needs to shred its lining is this correct.
Should I give up ttc during a cycle like this and resume ttc shortly after period shows again.
Sorry I know in a previous post I said I felt I was out of time but I just cannot give up yet.
Has anybody any thoughts on what I should do shoud I continue ttc in a long cycle like this or is it pointless.

A friend of mine came off the pill to ttc and her periods were few and far between - don't know exact details but certainly a few months apart. She had given up thinking about it and was waiting to see the doctor for tests to find out what was going on.

She was having sex but not just for the purpose of conception and testing occasionally in case she was pg (usually if she was planning to drink a lot!). She tested before the work Christmas party and got a BFP!!

I really feel for you lostit I have PCOS and am currently on cd53 with no sign of ovulation. I've haven't temped for a week as I dont see the point at the moment with this epic cycle. My last cycle was 47 days (I apparently ovulated according to FF) but the cycle before that was 97 days long I had to get AF induced with progesterone tablets.

Have you been checked for PCOS?
