hi lissie,

I know that this is'nt quite the same as a HyCosy but on my info sheet for the HyCoSy it says not to have intercourse from the start of your period to the test as they can't do it if theres any chance you may be pg.

I will be booking my appointment tomorrow for 10 days time as af got me tonight

hth

Found this:

If there is a chance that you could become pregnant, the hysteroscopy should be done before you are ovulating so your doctor is sure you are not pregnant.

So I would assume that you would be better not TTC this month, as if there is any chanc of being pg on day of hysteroscopy it isn;t a good idea.

As so close to OV I am not sure how it would work, but would assume hysteroscopy would possibly halt any pg that may be about to occur.

thank you! spoke to nurse at pre-op and she said that on or before ov day is fine. as long as the (potential) embryo isnt in the uterus yet a hysteroscopy is safe.
