Conception

I feel like I'm in this for the long haul now

I know that in the grand scheme of things it's not that long, but we've been TTC (with more or less enthusiasm for the task, depending how knackered we are) for 12 months now. All my 'deadlines' have passed - significant birthdays, friends pregnancies and babies, exams taken and work commitments accepted. And now I've bought a batch of pg tests and some 'pre-seed' lube from access diagnostics. I feel like I've graduated into some kind of hardcore TTC life! Am trying to stay happy, but this month was the first where I cried and cried when my period showed up. No need to reply, just felt the need to 'say' it all, somewhere.

me too been TTC since oct last year really fucked off with it sure there is a problem with me and as you know (thanks for the advice again!) have a crap doctor who thinks PG tests can work from ovulation.

Tis shit and not fair I feel like taking my ball home!

I conceived DD the first month we used pre-seed. I am now pregnant again after only two months trying, the first month we did not use pre-seed, the second we did .
Pre-seed rocks.

Good luck, Captain! And you'll need to come back here and give us the pre-seed review! A friend of mine swears by it too. My problem is my CM is just not reliable. One month it will be copious, next month, not so much...

aww, thanks guys, it's good to be able to say it all somewhere. DH doesn't like too much pressure, and the mind boggles at talking to RL friends or family about pre seed! I'm trying not to get my hopes up (as ever), but will report back...

(I got pg the first month we used preseed after 9 previous BFN cycles - don't know if it was just a coincidence or not)

stop it! In the worst traditions of scientific research I have started this month
taking evening primrose oil
taking a vitamin B complex rather than just folic acid
adding 2 servings a day of full fat dairy to my diet
and, when it arrives
using pre-seed

obsessed, moi?

that stuff, yes. Also sold on ebay a bit cheaper, but I dunno, I just don't like ebay that much these days. So I got mine from acccess diagnostics. They get lots of mentions on the TTC boards, so I figured they are for real and likely to send the stuff. It's supposed to be a nice, sperm nourishing lube (see why I can't chat to my mother about this!)
