learblue Fertility Monitor. New user with Questions

Hello - may I ask some advice please...

I have been taking my temperatures for about a week now, have just got my period and my temperature has dipped quite low. Is this what I should expect to see while menstruating. (it was very high yesterday - 36.9 when I was spotting and has dropped to 36.1)

Also - I am expecting a Clearblue Digital monitor in the post any day now. I am on CD1 - can I start using it as soon as I get it or will I have to wait until the next cycle to begin? Can I add data retrospectively?

I am also using FF but have only about 8 days of temps.

Is a temperature dip normal when you start a period?

hi beanie, i use the clearblue monitor and this was my first month ttc (AF came today tho). i found this monitor really easy to use. just press the m button until the monitor shows #1. on your first cycle it will ask you to test on dy 6. dy 1 is the first day of proper AF.

beaniesteve - I would get up this morning and press the m for day 2 (today for you), you can set it up to day 5 if you forget first few days... hoep that helps..

thank you - have read all the instructions now and am all set to go. Exciting. My BF has Call of Duty Four... but I have something better now. I have warned him that it will be telling us when to do the deed [green]
