Conception

Could I be pregnant? Is there such a thing as a 3WW?

I am so confused about this.

I temp, check CM and am pretty sure of when I ovulate, give or take a day.

DH and I had sex on the Sunday, and I ovulated on the following Wednesday. I did not ovulate again in the month, and DH and I were not exactly... active.

I then proceeded to have back ache, exactly as I did when I was pregnant before.

At 14 dpo my temp dropped and I got my period. It lasted 5 days and was reasonably heavy, bright red blood, nothing to distinguish it from any other period.

Today is CD7 of my new cycle - two days after my period ended. From day 3 of my period my temps started to creep up again and today it was 36.8 - a normal luteal phase temp for me. It's way too high for my usual follicular phase.

I did a test (Boots cheapie) just to confirm that I am going out of my mind and... there's a line. It is not dark but it is there. Those of you who have had the misfortune to read about my loathing of clearblue and the 3 faulty tests I had this cycle will know about my uncanny ability to imagine lines, but seriously I am not imagining this. I am going to put a photo on my profile page to prove it.

After all that, the bleed and everything - and a bit of a lack of sex, could I be pregnant? Or maybe it could be a CP?

This is so odd I don't know what to think.

hmm I think I can see a line horizontally and a verrrry faint line vertically.

could you get a first response, as they're usually a bit more reliable ime?

I have just spent far longer than I like to think of googling 'period and pregnancy' as I am having the wierdest few days. It is possible to have a period in teh first month and still be pg, though a 'normal' period is less usual than a 'light' one. And yes, I can see the line. Best of luck!

Arg!  I could, but I am home alone with a sleeping infant...

I really can't wake her up for a moonlight trip to the chemist!

I can see a cross in the first window, thought the vertical line is not very clear.

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 26/03/2008 20:15

there is definitely two lines

Not sure what it means though!!

You can technically be pregnant from sex up to 5 days before ovulation, and it is not uncommon to bleed around the time your period would have been due.

So, you could be pregnant. I have no knowledge or experience of chemical pregnancy.

I take it you want to be pregnant??

Good Luck

I have been resisting starting a thread about my wierd days! Spotting 8DPO, 11DPO, 12DPO, then one dash of red blood today, 13DPO, period due tomorrow, and just feel pg. Plus the lightest line in the world on a HPT and a not pregnant on ClearBlue. AAARGH. So empathy, basically.

Yes - a cross in the first window.

Here's a link to this cycle's chart:

Current

Normal temps for me are 36.4-36.6 pre-ov and 36.7 and higher afterwards.

Yes yes yes BTLT I really want to be pregnant. So much so that I have been known to imagine lines.
But I did get an awful lot of BFNs this cycle, so this is very odd if it is real.

Nice to see you Mibbes. Are you still walking on air?
