I want to have mine removed too as mine causes me pain during intercourse but i'm scared it might hurt or there might be probs. I was on the injection before and I got pregnant pretty dam quick when I cameoff that so I bet the coil could be the same. I think it depends on your body.

I had a mirena coil fitted after having 2 children. We then decided to try for a third and I had the coil removed in January 2001. I had it removed during my period (less painful) and only had that one period , fell pregnant straight away and 3rd child born October 2001. So feel straight away.

I conceived number 2 (12 weeks old) on the 3rd month after my mirena was removed. Good luck!
