Conception

Scared to test...

Well, after ttc no.2 for nearly a year and a m/c in October, my period is 3 days late. I feel OK, no symptoms either way (PMT/pregnancy) except for very tender breasts...but I am petrified of actually doing a pregnancy test because a) I know I'll be disappointed if it's a BFN and b) (more importantly...) if I am pregnant I will be delighted but very scared that I'm going to miscarry again.

Don't really know what I'm posting here for, but just needed to get it off my chest.

I was recently in a similar position. I tested when I was four days late. It was positive, and the next weeks were very stressful and worrying. (am 12 weeks now and all is fine)

Good luck.

You know you are going to test...

Why not do it and hope for the best? We will all be here either way.

I do know how you feel, still waiting for a BFP following my MC in January.

3 days late is good

(Congrats for getting to 12 weeks Belgo, I have been secretly stalking checking up on you every now and then )

There's only one thing for it really....TEST!
Either way, not knowing is obviously worrying you so you'll be better off knowing.
Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks everyone. I did a second test today, not even using morning pee, and it came up very definitely pregnant straight away! I'm overjoyed, but won't be truly happy until I've at least had my 12 week scan.
