I always come on 14 days after I ovulate, I ovulated 15 days ago so am only just late but still...

I know I can't be pregnant (have been ttc for almost three years now so not a chance) but if I don't come on soon I will feel obliged to go and waste money on a test which I know will be negative.

so you all need to use your powers to bring on my af, and to slap me so that I don't go and buy a test .

poundland do 3 tests for £1! only waste a pound then! are you usually spot on regular?

ah but it would cost me £2.80 to get there on the buss. .

as a rule my cycles are around 28 days. Have had a few longer cycles, but when that has happened I've generally not been able to pinpoint when I've ovulated, and it's not happened that regularly. but the times when I have ovulated af has arrived spot on 14 days after, and this month I knew when as had specific ovulation pains etc.

But I am not pregnant - there's just no way. I want to be of course, but I'm not.

Go and put on something really nice that you wouldn't want spoilt and try and take your mind of it, hard I know. I hope you get the result you want.

yes i find that wearing my best knickers usually brings on my AF!!
or go into town anyway and while you are there get a test, you may actually have AF on the bus!!!

bethoo · 11/02/2008 09:57

but seriously fingers crossed you are!

Why dont you buy a load of tests from Ebay. That way you can do tests as and when you like. I find if I just do the test, get it out of the way so you can move on to next cycle without thinking 'am I? am I not?'. I find the longer I worry about it and put off testing the harder it is when that BFN appears. You can drive yourself mad teasing yourself.
I hope you do get a BFP but you really should get that test out the way. And like Bethoo says, you might even get AF on bus. That'll save you the money. Then go and buy yourself something nice from town

Put yourself out of your misery and test. Tesco's sell a test for about £3.50.

Fingers crossed for you xx

Well, I've just got a BFP from a Sainsburys one that were two for £3.83 and didn't even use FMU. They are as sensitive as clearblue if you read the super-small print.

IgotaBFP, i got a BFP wth sainsburys one too....about 10 days before my period is due.
I've have had 4 negatives since though so I think mine test was either super super super sensitive or faulty.
