with dd1 (my third) I tested at 2 days late and it was SO faint, but got stronger. Actaully, come to think of it, it was v faint with ds2 as well, but SO strong with ds1 (he has always done things in spades.....)

If you read the test within the specified time limit then it should be accurate however faint the line. Mine was very faint when I was very early on. But I have had evaporation lines when I've re-checked tests a while after they appeared -ve iyswim.

Erm, it glowed in the farking dark! But then I had not planned on a pregnancy and was sort of expecting a faint line or an inconclusive result because I didn't believe it was realy happening - and do remember thinking, well, at least I didn't waste any extra money on the bargain double-pack.

On day 27 it's going to be pale. But you need to retest in 48 hours because your HCG levels will have doubled by then.

My line was really faint but I think I Oved late as I am 9+5 today but the scan I had a few weeks ago puts me at 9! I was convinced that I was PG but because the line was so faint couldnt trust it I tested agin the next morning and then the next by the 4th day it was as strong as the test line. Good luck i hope this is your BFP x

As soon as the wee hit the stick a big fat line appeared. But I was 6 weeks pg when I tested.

I think the hormone level that is tested doubles every couple of days, so test again on Sunday - or for however long you can hold out for!

A line is a line, however faint. On this pg, I got one of those digital ones. It give the word "pregnant". Takes all the doubt out of it!

hello everyone, i was due for my period on the 26 and now the 28 i took a pregnancy test and it was positive both lines appeared in secs and pretty dark, but a few hours later the poistive lines were very faint almost gone, so does this mean i'm pregnant or not pregnant?

PG. Almost definitely. But try the digital test: much more reassuring to see it in back and white!
