OPK lines getting stronger after 10 minutes?!!!! SHOULD I IGNORE IT?

Have always kept my OPK's to compare them, even though you're not supposed to. They've only ever faded in time. This time I just had another look at the stick an hour after doing the test, and the test line is much darker than it was after a couple of minutes!

Should I ignore it? Or does this mean I'm FINALLY ovulating on CD19!!!!

Do you still have your instruction leaflet? Mine says to ignore any changes after 10 mins.

thanks ladies. they were Boots OPKs the instructions said to discard the test after 10 minutes. i did another one today, no line within the first three minutes and then checked again an hour later and the line was there, so I think it's just a design fault (evaporation line?). in between these two tests I did a Clearblue digital test and got a negative, which pretty much confirms that I am not ovulating.

Hi DG. I got a line on all my OPK's but with all of them it took over ten minutes to appear except the strong one I got on Wednesday which started appearing within 60 seconds and was stronger than the test line within ten minutes. I don't think my other lines were evaporation line because they were all in the same place.

Were using different brands so I don't know if my post is of any relevance but though I'd pop on and poke my nose in

Have a fantastic weekend away. fingers crossed for you.
