Hello! I noticed you said you had irregular cycles so I thought this may be of help for you. A couple of times in my life my periods have gone a bit mad and I've found herbs are really good at getting them regular. Best way to do it is to see a qualified herbalist so you get a personal blend. dong quai is usually used or agnus castus but there will be others that are right for you. My cycle is now back to 28 days. Best not to ttc whilst taking herbs in case of mc but it doesn't take long to get cycle sorted.

Thanks Manuka - do you get them through a chinese herbalist? How long did it take after you started on the herbs? I'm so impatient I don't know if I'd be able to not ttc now I've started! I was thinking about acupuncture to try and regulate them.

Hello sorry for delay had to go to the farm!
I see an English herbalist who was recommended by a friend so its mainly English herbs with dong quai aswell. It took me a couple of months to get sorted but this woman is brilliant and grows a lot of her own herbs. I'm sure if you google herbalists there will be a register of qualified herbalists.
Chinese practitioners can sometimes be hard to communicate well with cos of the language barrier although chinese herbs are excellent when prescribed properly. You might be lucky and find an English practitioner of chinese medicine.
Accupuncture is brilliant! I had a couple of miscarriages and then stopped ovulating and hormones went mental. Far too much testosterone! I had accupuncture and reflexology and then got pregnant and now have a daughter!
I'm like you, horribly impatient. There's a very good Bach Flower Remedy which helps. It's called IMPATIENS.
I really think that when we get that huge drive to have a baby it's because there is a soul in the ether giving us a nudge so maybe take the Impatiens and spend some quiet time thinking that there is already a soul who has decided you're it's mother and open up and let it in! It's probably waiting for the 'right' egg and sperm combo!
