OK. So after posting a while ago and explaining i didnt want to concieve this month after a mc in july IM 3 days late. Not sure what to do. Am scared i am pregnant, mainly cos i dont want to spend 7 weeks worrying about having a mc, not sure im strong enuf to do that again! Should i do a pregnancy test or wait. So signs of period yet but boobs are sore. didnt sleep last nite and feel tired all the time for past few days. Thing is its my bday on monday and have big nite planned with girls, drinking and dancing, if i preg then i cant do it!!! Havent drunk in months so would be nice. Shall i not do test so i can get drunk or would it be better to find out? Im so confused right now and maybe worrying about it is making things worse! HELP.....

Well Sam - if you ARE pregnant then there is nothing you can do to change that fact. If you didnt test and got really drunk - would you regret it if you were pg??? IMO you should test. Good luck (From what others have said i think you will always have those weeks of worry if you have had a previous m/c WHENEVER you get pg)

true. i know id never be able to forgive myself if i was pregnant and got drunk but my dh said that we did it right last time, didnt drink, didnt smoke, took folic acid, rested and i stil had mc. with my ds i got drunk every weekend for 6 weeks and had a healthy baby! Im gonna go do a test i think!

Hi Childmindersam - I think either you test, or you only have a couple of drinks on Monday if you think you might be PG but don't want to test. If you do drink, then find out you are PG then you will probably stress yourself worrying about having got drunk anyway. Early PG can be so stressful anyway, especially if you have had a previous M/C. best of luck.

sorry peeps, havent been on! Well , and i dont mean to sound horrid or insensitive to peeps who are ttc, but im not pregnant! was 5 days late in the end but relieved that af arrived! Didnt get drunk but had wine on sat nite! thanx for advise though! and managed to have a good cry and finally grieve which i have found hard to do so who knows maybe i can ttc this month without feeling AS apprehensive. I do want a baby!!!!!
