If test after test says 'No' - it really means 'No'?

I've worked through a whole handful of pregnancy tests over the last fortnight... they are all negative.

Should I stop being so suspicious about being nauseous, tired and crampy?

I'd kind of decided to put it out of my mind. Then a bit of idle searching on MN seems to throw up people with neg tests long into a pregnancy... does that mean I need to drop alcohol/coffee/pate/soft egg just in case? Or is that the route to 'phantom pregnancy' madness?

As a complicating factor I've yet to have AF after Ds - and bf once or twice a day still.

I don't know, all I can say is last month I was nauseous, tired, emotional, moody, had metallic taste in mouth, went off certain foods and drinks, had white spots on outside of nipples, sore boobs etc. and all my tests were negative and AF came 4 days late. I think because I had one little symptom and read too much into it, I got all the other 'phantom pg' symptoms.

The hard bit is the fact you've not had AF since Ds. Maybe speak to the Dr about it?

Hello Kif, I'm CD70 I've had quiet a few PG symptoms but all I'm getting are BFN's, I've seen the doc as I'm over a month late but doc seems to be saying it could be stress related and I need to relax (ie I'm a nutter and it could be a phantom PG )

My advice is to try and put it out of your mind and relax I wouldn't avoid anything in particular until you get a BFP. Try not testing for another 7days. I've heard a few stories of people taking ages to get their BFP's so its possible. Basically if there a baby in there then you will get your BFP at some point and if theres not then you will get AF. I know its easier said than done relaxing but you've gotta try.

Good Luck
