TRYING TO MAKE A BABY

HI THERE, i HAVE HAD AN IMPLANT IN MY ARM FOR 6 YEARS NOW AND I JUST HAD IT TAKEN OUT AS WE WANT TO START A FAMILY, MY DOCTOR SAID IT MIGHT TAKE A FEW MONTHS TO WEAR OFF BUT I'M CONCERNED IT MIGHT TAKE LONGER, I MEAN NO PERIOD FOR SIX YEARS IS GONNA TAKE SOME TIME YEAH? ANYWAY DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIANCE OF THIS???

No experience of implants myself, but there are loads of people on here with pretty much every kind of story to tell, so I'm sure someone will be able to help.
Just wanted to say good luck and hope you don't have to wait too long

Emmy, I had a Norplant installed about 15 years ago. I kept it for 3 years. After removal my cycles were all over the place for about a year. Wasn't into babymaking at the time but when I did get the fancy I was preg straight away.

It didnt take me any time to get my periods back as unlike you i continued to have them, but both me and my sister took a while to get pregnant and my sister stopped trying
