Been trying for another baby for a couple of months. I am nearly due on and had all the symptoms two days ago ie bloated, slight period pain etc. I came on the day before yesterday but only a timy bit and it stopped after less than a day. Period pain etc has also stopped. Could I be pg?? Has anyone any experience of anything similar?

Could be spotting from implantation. If you dont come on properley in a day or two then do a test. Good Luck

thanks CP3. Sounds promising but I won't get my hopes up just yet. Will take a test in a few days if nothing else happens

Did you not get a period at all last month myermay? I have been reading a bit on the net about implantation bleed and it does sound like what I had, but maybe i'm just living in hope. How soon can you do a P test? Maybe you have done yours too early and might get a positive result in a week or two. Good luck

Yes, with my first pg I thought A/F had started but it never really got going, IYSWIM. After 5 days (yes, it took me that long to cotton on ) I did a test and it was positive. If A/F keeps messing around, do a test when it would have been due.

I had implantation bleeding with my 2nd - my 'period' only lasted a day. I didn't realise till I had symptoms and I was 7 weeks. Good luck, hope you get your baby soon.

I feel very hopeful after reading your messages. Should really wait, but I'm going to get a test as waiting never has been my strong point . Will let you know how I get on.

Took a test and it was neg . I still have no sign of period. I am drinking a lot of water at the moment. Had about 4 pints before I took the test yesterday so I'm wondering if the sample was too diluted to show any hormone. (or am I just clutching at straws?) I have worked it out and am now a day late, so I'll wait another week and if nothing happens take another test, but this time I'll do it in the morning.

Still no sign of period. Took another test today and got a faint line. When I say faint i mean FAINT. The sort of line you'd need a magnifying glass to see, but it was definately there. Am I pg or aern't I? I'm sure my boobs are bigger and they're quite sore. The test I took was called Rapid, it's one where you wee in a pot and use a dipstick. Problem is I think the dipstick went in above the line it was supposed to although not sure. Could this have given me a false positive result?? I'm tempted to get one of those clear blue tests that say 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' but even that would probably come up 'not sure'. Can anyone help? spent so much on testing kits really can't afford to spend any more (but will if i have to

I just think the lady in the chemist thinks I'm a bit wierd. Over the last few months have bought loads of tests. Have to get the next one from somewhere else. Just need a definate yes or no. Very unusual for me to be so late though.

Good idea, myermay, i'll invest in a clearblue and wait until the morning. In a way I don't want to test again as at the moment i've got hope! will let you know.

Yes, negative and period has come now. I don't know what the faint positive result meant, maybe it was because I put the stick in too far! Upset but will keep trying. Need a playmate for dd!

bonniej, So sorry about AF THis TTC plays tricks on the body and mind.. I convinced myself last month i was PG and af arrived.. Here is hoping for next month... You should join the TTC thread 10 there is alot of support there..

Thanks Minnie1. DH is getting a bit stressed by the amount of pg tests I've did this month. Think I'll take it easy next month and not get so wound up even if I'm late. Good luck to you and everyone else trying xx

bonniej, medisave site have cheep pg test i always say i won't test and i do!!! spent 30 euro in one month on the bloody things just to get BFN.. Hope you ok and hope to see you n the other TTC thread..
