ok BeckiF- lets hope that we all have bfp before xmas!!

((hugs)) bfn are not easy to take....esp when they are mounting up behind you...just you wiat till you get that bfp (I cried for an hour..my mum tought someone had died when i called her...after 23 cycles ttc!)

someone was asking about mt leave/pay...I was the first in my company...and they negotiated an above statutory packege!! As it happens I've struggled to work the 6 months before I am due to leave to be a sahm..and wish that I hadn't bl*y taken it now!! However - they followed the civil service guidelines if that helps...any ask me if you want to know anymore

ps..the back to work bonus is a good idea...cos if you don't wnat to go back..it doesn't leave you in a position of paying all the mat pay back..mrswednesday posted a bout that on thread 9!

I wanted to ask about breast pain actually. Obviously my cycles are non-exisitent basically but when I do get one I get terribly sore boobies, and my left one has been sore for weeks! I have naturally lumpy breasts anyway so can never tell if there is a new one! I have been to the docs before about lumpy boobs and they've always said it's fine. Normally I get af just after! Just don't want to be gettin gstressed about breast cancer now as well ... aaagghhh!!! It's funny because at the mo if I take a deep breath in or yawn both my nippes go really tingly .... I KNOW IT'S A PG SIGN!! But we know I'm not !!!

Not sure Becki, my boobs seem to get sorer each AF, it's like it's taunting me. Could you give ti a few more weeks and then maybe just double check with docs.

just been speaking to work associate who has 3 children. She says "oh you need to be taking Selenium Ace" she said that her friends DH is a farmer and gives it to the cows to help them get pregant and both her and her friend became pregnant the next month after taking it. it's bascially an anti-oxident. I'm off down boots!

Oh god, now if I don't fall pg this month I'm going to be obsessed that it's because I wasn't on Selenium Ace!

Thanks for the advice re Maternity packages. I'll let you know how I get on.

Hey Becki F
Maybe I will be brave and join you on this thread, espically if its lucky!!!

BeckiF,

Sorry, you've probably already done stuff like this but could you get a blood test from your doctors to see if you are pg? It must be very stressful being in this kind of limbo.

This TTC lark is hard enough without having such long and baffling cycles.

Am keeping fingers crossed for all of us.x

No I'm not gonna bother with a blood test, I know I'm not pg even if I wished I was. It just doesn't happen to people like me

Huge sprinkle of extra special baby dust to SKM (and me) and a huge hug

Still here sweetheart...nearly home time and I have achieved nothing work-related all day!

Pamina3, I was just thinking the same thing about drinking as I've got friends coming round for tea tonight, and a bottle of wine already opened.

Do you usually abstain once you have ovulated?
