I think they are supposed to be the same shade as the test line. The "line is a line" doesn't apply to test sticks. I think it means you are on the way though. What CD are you?

I never had much luck with these either Lissie. When I used them I use to get 1 or 2 faint lines then 1 darker one but not always as dark as ref line. I never found them much good.

Nor me. I used them for 3 or 4 months. I used the Boots ones that they were selling as by one and get second half price. One month I did seem to get a positive result with the line in the test window the same as the line in the control window. But the other 3 months the line in the control window never got as dark as the one in the test window, so I decided they were rubbish and I was wasting my money, which was better than thinking that in 3 months I didn't ovulate!

Must admit that sometimes I did them in work and would then forget to check them when it got to 3 minutes cos I would smuggle them back to my desk rather than sitting on the toilet for a full 3 mins!

By the way DH did not like your tonsilitus tonic tho when I made it I used cheapo lemonade and didn't have fresh lemon to add to it! I didn't sample it myself but it did sound nice. Thanks anyway.

I'm ok thanks. I never got on with them tbh. I still have some, if you think they might be useful, please CAT me and I'll happily send them to you.

so the 3 min rule is strict? oh well, think i'll just use this pack then carry on listening to my body. shame about the tonic, i take it coz im allergic to lemsip etc and it always soothes my throat and seems to work.

beansprout, thank you. dont have CAT but you can email me lissie_g78 @ yahoo.co.uk (no spaces obv)

Lissie - I've had similar results using the ebay strip type tests i.e 3 days of lines but never a positive. This month I thought to hell with it and splashed out on the digital ones. I only needed one as it came up straight away (blood test confirmed it too) so I think they are worth it. But then on the other hand if your b'ding a lot you're covering your bases anyway.

I'm going to Boots now, might check out prices of digitals.

Be warned bobby they're not cheap. About £20 for 7 but it says over 99% accurate.
