I spotted for three days after mine, but it was very light, i also spotted later on in the cycle as well.
When i mentioned this to my consultant he said the spotting straight after the hsg was normal as the womb lining may have been slightly disturbed during the procedure.And the spotting later on was a sign of a hormone imbalance never had it before.

lissie, I spotted for about 6 days after my HSG and I was told by my consultant that this was completely normal. Hope that reassures you. Good luck

Is it ok to TTC the month of an HSG? I assumed all that gunk would have passed out by the time of ovulation, but perhaps not from what you're saying. Did anyone get warned off trying that month?

thanks thats made me feel a bit better.

impatience, nurse said that we can ttc again straight away (just wait til we get off the carpark)
bleeding has definately stopped and just in time too (by my maths anyway)
