I have an appointment with my GP for day 21 bloods. Can you please explain what they are looking for and if it will help as my cycles are quite long average 37 days?

Sorry to be so cheeky but you have a lot of knowledge and that is something i need

Day 21 is a standard test done to measure progesterone levels. This will determine whether you've ovulated or not that particular month.

A level of 30 or over is a level they like to see.

If your cycles are averaging at 37 days this may well be seen as an irregular cycle.
