Been doctors finally after ttc for 9 months had blood tests they came back all fine. Then was two weeks late on AF . so i did a test and it was negative .

i then took my niece on a fast ride at the fair

the next day had a bleed with loads of big clots ( i know it sound horrible but thats what it was like). so decided to go back to doctors she said i could have probably had missed carried but if this was the case couldnt she have done any tests to find out for sure if i had.

then all she said was if your not pregnant by september come back and see me and i will refer you.

Hi RLR - I don't have any advice but I didn't want to ignore your post.
You may have had a miscarriage ... but if your pregnancy test was negative it is difficult to tell. Drs rarely investigate early mcs unless you have had recurrent ones sadly - which seems unfair when you are the one having the potential mc ...
Perhaps do what she says and take it from there?

My only experience a miscarriage is at 12 weeks so it was unmistakeable (and I was having a 12 week scan the next day anyway so I had it early which confirmed it)
I think some people/doctors can seem a bit heartless if it is a really early mc -
I am sorry you are feeling sad
The 'not knowing' is the worst bit probably.

RLR, my sister just announced that she is pg with her second child. Her DD is nearly 5 and they started trying when she was 4 months old. She went through a lot and even fertility treatment didn't work .. but she did finally get pg naturally ...
So it can happen ...

I hope you feel better soon and go and see the doctor if nothing has happened by September like she suggested ... {{{}}}

Can I just suggest that you think about going for some acupuncture? It can really help if you have been trying to concieve for a while. It will help to relax you and balance your energy in your body and mentally rebalance you as TTC can be stressful. Although it is not a panacea it definitley helps. Good luck.

No it doesnt hurt and cost depends on where you are. Anything from £25.00 to £60.00. Do a google for registered TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) acupuncturists. Most expensive is usually in cities eg London.
