Temp went up on Sunday (CD17) and today I still had EWCM. Is this leftovers? Have I already ovulated? Why did my temp go up if I haven't ovulated?

Hey, a whole thread devoted to my fanjo gunk

I think that once your temperature goes up you are meant to be past your fertile time. The gunk can hang around for quite a long time, I think.

Thanks Scary - that's what I was hoping. Have shagged for Eng-er-land this week and not sure I could manage any more, frankly!

Your temp is meant to go up after OV. However there could be a number of other reasons why you read a higher temp... illness related high temp/ poor themometer reading/ big night out etc.

EWCM is supposed to be present before OV to assist the sperm in getting up there before the egg comes down. Although that doesn't mean some residual stuff doesn't come down after. It could also be confused with sperm.

My advice would be never to refrain from bd just because you think you may have OVd based on temps (in case you are wrong) However, feeling you have to go at it based on symptoms can really be tough on the stamina!

Sounds like you've had lots of fun anyway. Good Luck
