Just wondered what everyone elses experiences were after coming off the pill. How long did it take before you had a period? Just came off the pill a few weeks ago and am wondering what the norm is.

Sadly I don't think there is a norm. I cam off Microgynon 9 months ago. I was lucky that my cycles return straight away. The drag is that they are longer than I would like and I have a short luteal phase.

I think its fair to say if they don't return at all to get that checked out.

mine returned straight away-i had a withdrawal bleed and then had 30 day cycles.although i think it stayed in my system for a couple of months, because my pmt returned in the 3rd month ttc, then fell pg 4th cycle.

Mine returned straight away, cycles slightly longer than before (I was only on the pill for one year, didn't agree with me) It took me 18 months for me to conceive, but no reason for that, just one of those things....
