VERY VERY CONFUSED :( ADVICE NEEDED

Ok so I think it might have been implantation bleeding but not sure. I was in hospital last week with bad spout of gastritus I was in four about 5/6 days and thought that was myself and dp out this month as we missed ovulation. We had sex the days before I went in and wen I came out. Two days ago I had very bad cramping like af but no blood. My af isnt due til the 26th of this month so ive 6 days to go amd earlier I went to toilet amd had a few very light spots of red blood and one stringy blood very small. As I said af not due for 6 days and I wouldnt really notice other symptoms as im not well anyway so being tired and sick is all I get atm anyway. Wat do ypu think could it be implantation? Weve been trying for 2 1/2 yrs and I dont want to get my hopes up. Wat do all u ladies thinkncud this be the month. I should also add im anaemic by folate which means not enough healthy blood cells and severly defecient in folate so im scared incase I am now that am low in folate ???

It could be implantation, it also might not be.
I'm sorry, I know how stressful it all is but you'll only know when your period does or doesn't make an appearance. Best of luck!

I'd give it a couple of days and test. If it was IB then, from experience, a HPT may pick up enough hormone in your urine to get a positive. With my pregnancy I implanted at 6dpo and got a faint positive on the evening of 8dpo. Tested next morning and got a definite positive and 1-2 weeks on a digi.
