Just fed up

I was excited to be expecting DC2 but had a pretty traumatic MC at 11 weeks back in May. Been trying to conceive since but no luck yet. Getting through dealing with an influx of pregnancy announcements from friends, family and colleagues.

I was convinced I was pregnant this month. Seems I was over zealous with the symptom spotting. Last night, 10 day before it's due, AF arrived. Very light but I can feel it's coming. I'm just fed up. I'm 40 next year and it feels like sand slipping through my fingers.

We've been trying for 19 months to conceive #2. I've just turned 38 & DD is nearly 4. Find it so hard getting AF every month. AF due Saturday & I'm already dreading it.

Yes it is so hard seeing friends & colleagues pregnant especially when it's happened so easy for them as well. It feels everywhere you go someone is pregnant or announcing their pregnant.

Butterflyroom can I ask if AF arrived in full flow or did it not amount to anything? Just wondered if it could have been IB?!?

Ugh. Sorry about your mc. I'm in exactly same situation. Miserable isn't it. It'll happen.

Thank you all for responding! The bleeding stopped. I'm just waiting now to see if the dreaded AF arrives. It's not usual so part of me is wondering (hoping!) if it could be IB but I'm feeling really heavy and gut feeling is AF.
