Ok, so I cannot of conceived more than 3.5 weeks ago as was still using contraception until then. I know, it's a little early to test but got a positive test within 2/3 weeks of conception with my first born.

I am experiencing pregnancy symptoms - nausea, I'm off my food (happened in my first pregnany), headaches, sore boobs, twinges in stomach and back and cramps similar to period pains - I had all these with first pregnancy -especially the cramps.

I tried cheap tests I bought on Amazon - negative. I bought a clear blue and a thin line showed up within 2 minutes - it wasn't faint but pretty thin and not in the centre.

Could this be a positive or an evaporation line?

Have you got a picture? If it showed within 2 minutes it does sound like an evap line. Maybe try a First Response, Superdrug own brand or CB digi.

Let me know how you get on, I'm imagining lines on my Amazon cheapies :)

I would say it was 2-3 minutes. The test tells you to wait for 3 minutes for a result so really confused right now.

I tested 3 times with cheapies from eBay that were supposed to be ultra sensitive they all came back negative. Tested with a clear blue two days later and it was a positive. Moral of the story is - don't buy Internet cheapies!

I tested with a clear blue at 11dpo and got a thin line, faint line. Tested next day with first response and was a definite positive so I would test again with one of those. They are a lot clearer.

I tested again with a clear blue digital and it was negative. Really annoyed how clear blue can sell products that give false hope to people trying to conceive.

OP clear blue digital are very very low sensitivity compared to even their own other tests. It's possible the other one picked it up because it is higher sensitivity and it's too early for the digital.
