BFP - Now I'm Terrified (MMR Jab)

I've been feeling tired for a few days, really really tired, and last night had a really realistic dream that I was pregnant. So realistic, that I couldn't get it out of my head all day today.

I bought a Tesco pregnancy test in my lunch hour as it was bugging me and have just done it whilst at work (yes I know, but I was curious!)

It has come up as a BFP :-) which is WONDERFUL, we were due to start clomid in August.

However, I only had my MMR jab a month ago on advice of the nurse, and am not supposed to get pregnant during this time as it can leave the baby brain damaged.

This is terrifying me now and although I am happy I am thinking the worst.

Has anybody become pregnant shortly having the vaccination - was all OK?

Thank you :-)

I googled and it said not to get pregnant within 1 month of having MMR. How long ago exactly did you have the jab

p.s. from looking online the risk seems to be only if you go on to get rubella yourself from the vaccine (rare) and then pass it on to the baby

miscarriage.about.com/od/infections/f/mmrpregnancy.htm - should also put your mind at rest a bit

Only nearly 3 weeks ago :-S

We have been careful during this time so I was obviously pregnant before having the jab - was very stupid of me not to double check but I honestly thought there was no chance I could be as we have been trying for nearly 2 years!
