Hi ladies,
We have been TTC since February and AF is about 4 weeks late... I have taken about 5 HPTs over the last few weeks and all have been negative until this morning when I did a clear blue digital with conception indicator. I used it right but it came up with a book symbol with the hour glass wait symbol which means there was a problem with the test. So I put it down not expecting anything but then it suddenly came up with "pregnant 1-2 And 3+" and there was a . I then tried not to drink much and did another test 5 hours later but it was negative. Now I don't know what to think. There is no mention of the meaning of the in the instructions and the help line is closed for the weekend. What do you guys think? Driving myself crazy for weeks not knowing!

Sorry but for some reason the message above didn't print the star symbol I put. The display had a star symbol on it and there is no mention of it in the instructions!

Sorry, but if you got the 'faulty' signal first and all subsequent tests are false- then i think it was just a dodgy test.

The most reliable tests i have found (and have been recommend to me) are the first response ones. They use pink dye instead of blue which are apparently less likely to give false positives. Would recommend testing with a first response using your first wee of the day.

Good luck OP x

I've used first response for both pregnancies and got a 1-2 weeks on day prior to period due (because I'm massively impatient). I'd give that a go in the morning.

Thanks for the advice. Where can you buy first response tests from? I've never seen them in sainsbury or tesco before.
