Here I am, Cd 1 after 2 days of spotting and I still holding on the slightest glimmer of hope that the bleed and cramps are implantation...

After all we did everything right at the right moment, so why are we not pregnant?

Does it happen to anybody else or I am the ony one in denial?

A couple of months ago at 10dpo I started with the first signs of brown spotting. I had a complete meltdown, crying, saying how unfair it was and then I slung back a couple of glasses of wine. It never amounted to anything more than tiny bits of spotting for a couple of days. Then at 15dpo I got my BFP. So it definitely does happen. But the month earlier I started spotting, kept hoping it was implantation and then 3 days later AF appeared so it can go either way!

Fingers crossed it's implantation for you too.

I'm with you. AF arrived 5 days early this month and was not like normal (lighter, more cramping, intense tiredness) so I was secretly hoping like anything that it was implantation. But BFN this morning, so it's obviously AF. Doesn't stop me wanting to keep on symptom spotting.

Our brains go crazy with this stuff! Can you try to distract yourself and focus on next month? and eat all the chocolate?

Thanks ladies, god to know I'm not alone :)

Our brain/bodies like to play trick on us. Oh the joys!

AF is in full flow now, so no room for doubts. Oh well, we'll keep trying...

I thought that too! Even after three days of a fairly heavy flow (sorry, TMI!) I thought maybe it was implantation bleeding...tested again just to put my mind at rest and obviously was BFN! Our minds eh!

I'm exactly the same! Every month AF starts with a few days of spotting & I always live in hope that it's implantation until the dreaded heavy bleed arrives. When I was pregnant with DD I had spotting just like the start of AF.

Why are period & pregnancy symptoms so similar!
