My husband and I have two children already, 7 & 5.. Both conceived very easily and healthy pregnancy and deliveries.
The problem is after a miscarriage three years ago, my periods are all over the place. Can range from 31 - 45+ days and sometimes even skipping months and get nothing. We have been trying to conceive our third for nearly two years!
We are both healthy and not over weight.
I have has tests done and after the miscarriage I had a few cysts on my ovaries which ended up resolving itself.
I have seen a gyno and he just wanted to put me onto Clomid - I tired this and again periods were at 45 days.
I have seen a naturopath for the past three months and she is fantastic!
I have been on Chaste Tree (Vitex) x 2 tablets per day and liquid herbs to help regulate my periods to fall pregnant. My first cycle was 28 days!! YAY... The next month 42 days :( now this one is 32 days....
I hasn't regulated it at all - its exactly the same! Unpredictable!
I have had all tests done and no one can work out why this is happening.. All blood tests came back normal all ultrasounds were normal no cysts or anything!
They can't seem to find why this is happening no matter how hard they try..
I am just feeling really let down by this whole thing!
I'm only 28 and having such a hard time trying to conceive..
Before seeing the Naturopath I usually got bad PMS symptoms - really sore boobs , back ache etc.. When I started taking Chaste Tree and liquid herbs all the symptoms went away as well. Until this cycle.. A few days past ovulation my boobs became really tender and enlarged.. I had been off food a bit - only snacking and can't finish my normal meals.. So I thought this month could have been it..
Until this morning I have brownish discharge in CM.. So af is on its way..
I'm just a little bummed out that everything we are trying doesn't seem to be working..
I had acupuncture around ovulation as well which is meant to be really good and still periods are unpredictable...
