First cycle after MMC and I'm already driving myself round the bend!

I had a MMC that we found out about at our 12 week scan in August. I've gone through a normal cycle as advised and I had a normal period that started on the 16th Sept. I'm usually super regular, so I should be due on on the 14th. I'm driving myself mad already. I already have pregnancy tests stashed away in preparation and I can't help thinking about it. We conceived on our first cycle last time and I think there probably will be tears if I don't get a BFP on monday. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep myself calm about the whole thing?

Hello Joni, I have no words of wisdom I'm afraid. I'm awaiting my Af from my mmc but have been poas like a silly begger!

The one thing I can say and what I try and tell myself (while reaching for the tests...!) is that you're either pregnant or you're not, worrying and testing is not going to change that.

I find it very difficult because I'm a major control freak, but sadly we have both learned the hardest way, that we have virtually no control over our bodies!

I hope you get your bfp soon! We deserve it! But remember, you're not alone!

Hi Joni, I'm in the same boat - mmc and erpc in August, period due any day from the 15th. My cycles aren't especially regular.

We'd been TTCing for two years when I got my bfp, so to say I was devastated would be an understatement. But it also means I'm well used to seeing those BFNs. I bloody hate the 2ww! As for keeping calm, the only thing that works for me is keeping busy. At the moment I'm in the middle of a Breaking Bad marathon, and I've restarted running, and made plans to see friends and go to the theatre next week. Hopefully that'll keep me from driving myself too badly round the bend!

Good luck to both of us smile

I'm in the middle of a Breaking Bad marathon as well. Halfway through season 4 and dying to know what happens next. Sorry to hear that it took you so long last time. Maybe we'll both find luck together. Crosses everything

Hi Joni, I'm similar too. I had a MMC in August at 12 weeks and started trying again this month. AF is due next Wednesday and I am desperate for a BFP! I'm driving myself crazy symptom spotting and can't think about anything else. Really worried about how I will cope if we haven't conceived even though I know that I can't expect it to happen on the first try.

I think you've done really well not to test already especially as you have tests in the house. I will probably cave and test in the next few days even though I know it's too early!

Sorry that's probably not very helpful. Hopefully this is our month and we get sticky beans. Good luck to Winkly and Luckystar as well xxx

Joni, I am in a similarish position... MMC at 12 weeks in September, still waiting for first 'proper' AF, thinking to try to conceive again from that point...

I hope we both get our healthy babies in 2014 flowers

Hi Nutcracker We waited for 'proper' AF before starting TTC again as well. I hope she arrives soon for you.

DH has banned me from POAS until AF is due on Monday. I'm driving myself round the bend. Every little twinge is being dissected, is that impending AF or a symptom? Argghh! I'm going to be seriously annoying to live with this weekend!
