Been ttc #1 for 8/9 cycles now with no luck. If we conceived this month it would give me a due date 1 week before DSIL's wedding.
DH will be very involved with organising and setting up of the wedding and I have also been asked to help. I really don't want to miss it or make DH miss it.
I don't want to stop ttc, this could be our month and its now getting me quite down that we haven't conceived yet.
So yes or no would you carry on ttc regardless?

We have pretty much the exact same dilemma and we are going to carry on. Good luck to you!

I would def keep trying. I'm currently ttc #1 and I was bmaid this year, I kinda tried to work out dates so I wouldn't be due around the time if wedding (ttc b4 I was asked to be bmaid) and I later discovered I have pcos. Feel as though I wasted a few months. I was always thinking if when is be due and what would be happening at that time and now I don't think like that at all.

Carry on!! You can't plan your life around what ifs and maybes. And you can't plan it around someone else's life either!

Carry on!!

As sod's law would have it my baby is due 4 days before a Wedding both me and my husband are due to attend. It is my husband's best friend and my husband is the best man - eek. We didn't even take things like Weddings into consideration when TTC, it didn't even occur us until ew worked out the due date Smile

Just do what is right for you.

Hopefully my husband will still make the Wedding but we'll deal with that at the time. I will definitely not be going though. We have got the delight of informing the couple tomorrow.....can't wait... Hmm

If you miss it, you might spend a few months wondering 'what if?'

Don't do that to yourself.

Carry on. For all you know, if you conceive this month, your baby might arrive three months early or two weeks late. If you conceive next month/month after/month after that and it comes early, you could still find it 'interferes' with the wedding. You can't plan these things Smile. Crack on and have fun!

Carry on. You can't put your life on hold because your S.I.L is getting married. The world can't be expected to stop because she is getting married. Harsh yes, but true yes. Also would she put the wedding back for you, me thinks not. xx
