Anyone else NTNP?

Ds 9m old. Still BF. Still no period since birth.

Have just started getting a sex life back on track. Never filled my prescription for the pill.. Had a few talks with dh. Some of which he says he wants min 2 years between, others he says we have a really good baby and whatever happens happens. He knows I am not on the pill but there is still a small possibility of getting BFP but makes no hesitation at jumping me with no wrapperShock lol.

So I think we are on the NTNP bandwagon. How do I keep myself from POAS every 2 Weeks after CONVINCING myself I have symptoms.

This week is unquenchable thirst and hot flashes. Doh!!

Please let me know someone else out there is with me.Grin

Ahhh, difficult. I am tentatively trying for baby 2.

I'm finding it difficult in that we're not actively TTC, but I'm sypmtom spotting in the 2WW, worrying about whether a glass of wine is ok / seafood is ok (am on holiday!) and have a real eye on tomorrow which is when AF is due.

And this is only month 1!

Ahh yes I used to feel the same thing Smile but AF returned when DD was about 7m! I symptom spotted like crazy and drove myself insane several times Blush

I only had 2 ways to stop regularly POAS... 1. no sticks to pee on, 2. Once I caved and bought a pack, I set a date on which I could POAS every month, and not before unless I had heaps of symptoms Smile This required a loooooot of self control (which I don't have) and bloody minded stubborness (which I have plenty of)! Still wanted to do it every week though. Grin

Good luck for a BFP though! It is a total arse that it is much harder to get a BFP when BF but hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones!

Oh my... Just found that our dollar store has tests for $1.25. Bought 4 Blush I couldn't wait a month!!! No such self control and I like all sorts of things like sushi and runny eggs.

Don't look at ebay then.... 10p each from HK (not going to mention how many I've bought despite my best intentions!)

Any luck Beeblebear?

I am kind of sort of doing this. Had a very unexpected BFP in February despite using contraception (condoms) but sadly no sooner had we got our heads around the idea of a baby, I miscarried at only 6 weeks. This made us really think about how amazing it would be to have another child so we decided to throw caution to the wind and just see what fate brings us. Since then we have hardly spent any time together (dh works away for long periods) so it's all been a bit theoretical really. We have only had 1 shag in the last 8 weeks which is a lame effort! It was just before I think I ovulated though, so who knows? I have no symptoms and refuse to POAS until I'm at least a week late so I've got another 2 weeks to wait. I'm trying to be all zen and relaxed about it but it's surprisingly difficult!
