Could this be a positive?

I've been using ovulation sticks this month and had a positive last Saturday.

Today I used one and it showed up a very dark line again. I know they show up as positive if you're pregnant too.

What do you think? Too soon?

But it's too late to get one! DH has the car and I'm not sure I'd want to know yet.....pregnancy is long enough as it is!

Yes too soon, as IF you ovulated last saturday you would only be 7 days post ovulation and a pregnancy test would only just if at all pick up a pregnancy so early, and ovulation sticks go positive due to pregnancy after the pregnancy test shows positive (which is why they are not good for using as pregnancy tests!)

The most likely explanation is that you did not ovulate last weekend, but are about to ovulate now. Although it is possible for the LH levels to rise just before your period is due and occasionally people get a near positive at that time, but again, that is unlikely, for a normal LP would mean that you would not be getting your period til next weekend.

All this is assuming you did get a negative ovulation test after last saturday and that you have not had continuing positive tests.

Anyway I hope you get your hoped for positive pregnancy test soon.

I had that, too, but not sure why, either. I do think it's too early for a pregnancy test to show anything, yet.
My smiley face turned up last Sunday,...and I tested yesterday on CB one because my discharge had changed and I was getting a bit confused. It came out as a negative, but the lines were both very dark.

Tested on cheapy ov strip and that was negative. Got a fainter line on CB one this morning (also negative), so might just have been something a bit weird. I didn't test in-between, so don't know whether lines would have stayed dark all the way through.
