We've almost filled the second thread so here is a new one, so we can carry on chatting! Threads #1 and #2 saw some stunning successes and some sad outcomes. We'll have more of the former and less of the latter on thread #3 please!

All comers welcome. I found it very useful to be with people going through the same thing when I did my first cycle, so if you would like to join us, please come on in!

Nokkie73 Mon 27-May-13 14:36:42

Hi girls

I am back. Lucky I am really as we need a brand new thread. We are two messages from this one self-destructing. I shall try to do it myself, which is bound to end in disaster because I am a ham fisted half wit.

Here goes.....

tam looks like congrats in order i agree get a digital and it will be in black and white, from what iv read the trigger should be out of your system by now.

motor good luck on starting your treatment iv been just the same as you but it will be finished soon.

wish i wish we didnt tell anybody now but alot of people seem to know and air their thoughts on it some negative but its what we want that matters, now it seems like the whole world and his dog know what we are doing.

Oh buzzy and tame a torturous time, but we're all so excited for you!! tame I would definitely be using a super-sensitive expensive test if I were in your position.
wish I start treatment tomorrow, and although we are going down different routes, I totally understand your anguish today. I have been very calm until now, but all weekend I've been anxious and tearful and terrified. Hold on tight - we'll get through it! Same goes for juicy
Can I say, by the way, that you guys are so supportive and funny and lovely?

buzzybee123 Mon 27-May-13 12:49:03

whispering congrats tortie the digi did help me, the thing with the line thing is its hard to know which ones do go darker, i really have to squint at mine

tametortie Mon 27-May-13 12:46:00

Honestly? Im gonna fish slap myself soon.

wishuponapositive Mon 27-May-13 12:37:57

Well personally I would say no it wouldn't. With my experiences of ovitrelle it's been out of my system by 10 days maximum.

Keep testing and keeping your fingers crossed! Maybe get a digi in a couple days? x

buzzybee123 Mon 27-May-13 12:37:19

tamie I'm going to give you little fish slap, its not the trigger its a BFP

tametortie Mon 27-May-13 12:37:04

Im just using the cheap superdrug own. Its only 3.99 for 2.

Im 16 days post ovitrelle. Can it linger for longer??!!

buzzybee123 Mon 27-May-13 12:36:20

tamie Its time to bring out the big guns, go get yourself a digi, are you using the internet cheapies, i don't believe its the trigger its saying you are pregnant and you need to see the words.

juicy grin

wish this is going to sound patronizing because I'm a crazy lady but its totally natural to feel like this, you are making such a big decision that is not what you had planned, you are not going to be n control of a lot it.

You do have eggs and you wouldn't be doing this if you and them didn't think it had a chance. Sadly with all of this there is no guarantee for any of us which is what makes it hard

You need to worry about you and not anyone else, they can look after themselves you need to concentrate on you you are the priority BIG HUGS

wishuponapositive Mon 27-May-13 12:20:05

Tame I would be exactly like you. Are you using extra sensitive tests or normal ones?

They say 10-14 days for the trigger don't they? That makes it 16 for you?

tametortie Mon 27-May-13 12:09:50

Do you think its the ovitrelle? I had it on may 11th. Could it still be in my system?

wishuponapositive Mon 27-May-13 12:08:44

Ok I'm totally freaking out today! It's a week until I start my injections and I'm panicking that I have no eggs in my follicles. Maybe that's the problem? Even if I do what's sayin it's going to work?

I've only been on the contraceptive pill and I've been tired, emotional and my boobs have gone up a cup size! They hurt so much!

I'm panicking that too many people know about my treatment even though we've only told people that need to know but it seems like so many!

I'm sorry, I've been so busy lately and today I've actually stopped to think about it all. I'm bricking it! I also feel so angry with myself for thinking all this when people are in worse situations.

Oh god! confused

tametortie Mon 27-May-13 12:08:15

Oh my fucking god. You guys.

No more spotting. And I have just done another test, mid morning, very dilute wee and its a faint positive.

Why aren't I happy? I feel numb.

I dont believe the tests.

juicypair Mon 27-May-13 11:56:30

Pessaries ended yesterday morning (hurrah!) but th'usband's knob's still smeared in Tippex when he pulls out (boo!)

buzzybee123 Mon 27-May-13 11:50:31

tamie I have to poke them at a certain angle to make them hurt hmm I never thought this would be my life, constant boob poking hmm I did get to 3+ on the digi today so I'm feeling calmer and I think I could be feeling a bit sick confused

What about you, no more spotting??

Yes I am aware that there is a man looking for me with a big butterfly net

tametortie Mon 27-May-13 10:58:05

buzzy- mine dont hurt at all hmm what a pair we are!

hope you are ok x

buzzybee123 Sun 26-May-13 19:54:40

my boobs don't hurt much today hmm

buzzybee123 Sun 26-May-13 19:06:39

its a good excuse to get things off your chest, you can always blame the drugs

juicypair Sun 26-May-13 14:16:33

mine took control of me within the first 12 hours

I am laughing and terrified in equal measure.

buzzybee123 Sun 26-May-13 13:43:37

juicypair Sun 26-May-13 12:47:30

*absurd, obvs.

juicypair Sun 26-May-13 12:47:01

Oh, Buzzy, you make me laugh.

I've just stormed home from the park, leaving th'usband most bamboozled. I really don't see the point in being in boiling hot sunshine when you're not thin and your clothes are not beautiful. I understand how ansurd that sounds but it's exactly how I feel. I'm not even fat; I'm 'normal'. Surely the Prednisolone can't have kicked in already? I only took it two hours ago but I feel quite irrationally furious confused
