Can't remember the last time I went in a pound shop but read on here the other day that some people stock up ok pound shop pregnancy tests!

Was in tk maxx with hubby last week, looked out the window and saw a pound shop!

Persuaded hubby to go with me and said I wanted to go to get some cheap household cleaning bits (lol)

Found the pregnancy tests... For... A pound! Believe it or not ;)

Bought 5 of them.. Well... Why not?!

Anyway... Wondering if they actually work or whether I've just wasted a fiver?

Sometimes I get a bit anxious after/during the 2 week wait so I guess having some cheapies will help!

The cheapies are fine - a line is a line! The more expensive ones you can just hold in the stream of the pee whereas the cheapie ones you have to use a receptacle which can get a bit messy...

I'm glad I got them... Last month I got a bit carried away and used some more expensive tests to test when it was probably too early and it was BFN after BFN!

At least with these I can cure my curiosity and its only a quid!

My sister used a pound shop one when she fell pregnant, got a positive result, then phoned the company to check it was right as it was so cheap! Blush.

You'll have to let us all know the result when you next POAS!!! Grin

They're even better value on ebay or amazon.

I've had very early results on cheapies. It's the same technology as the more pricey ones just no extra gubbins attached is all.

The poundland cheapie strip tests were the most reliable & gave the earliest positives (even compared to the really expensive ones that claim to tell you early). Money well spent!
