Hi There, this is my first mumsnet post so please bear with me not knowing all the abbreviations etc... We're trying for number 2 and no luck after 2nd attempt. Last time it happened first time. Never heard of fertility lubricants and as am nearly 35 I don't want this going on too long. Anyone used or heard of Pre-seed and Conceive Plus? Just came across them... Thoughts please? Thx very much xx

I would reccomend them....what I'd say is, they are helpful in providing lubricant - most lubricants aren't sperm friendly and may slow them down. However don't think of as a magic cure that will get you pregnant!

We used conceive plus without applicators (to use in foreplay and to pop inside me^). It definitely helped with lubrication. It didn't instantly get me pregnant though!

Choices between the pre-seed and conceive plus tend to be personal, as well as if you want to use it in foreplay or just to lubricate yourself..be warned though, the conceive plus is chilly and needs warming in your hands before you apply it, brrr!!

This will sound mad, but worked for me. Take cough medicine containing guisfesnin(probably not slept correctly)! for a couple of days before you are due to ovulate. This will thicken the cervical mucus for you. I used Benylin, but other brands are available.
