Hello just wondered if any of you ladies had experienced a faint positive on a first response and negative with the cb conception indicator?
I tested this morning with fmu with the cb test and got a 'not pregnant' result. I am 10dpo, so I know it is early but I couldn't stop myself. Despite the negative I have been experiencing cramping, sore back and painful bbs for the past couple of days (my period is due on the 10th/11th feb - I have a short lp of only around 11 days)
I bought a box of frer this morning as they are buy one get one free in superdrug at the moment (works out the your getting 4 tests for £10.49) and used one of these tests with second morning urine and got a faint positive. My question is really, are the fr tests much more sensitive? I'm scared that I'm going to have another chemical pg again, and feel stupid for testing so early. I'm still experiencing tingly heavy sensation in boobs and cramps, feel like af is going to arrive.

Sorry for the rant, I guess what I'm getting at is does anyone have experience of getting negative and them a faint positive so soon after with a different brand of test? I am going to use another frer tomorrow morning with fmu, or do u think this is too soon again?
Thanks

I think digital tests are notorious for not being very sensitive, whereas the whole point of FR are that they can pick up v low levels of HCG.

Can you stand to wait until 14 dpo?

I didn't bother testing the month I finally got my bfp because the af-just-about-to-arrive symptoms were so strong. I eventually tested when I was 3 days late (had an irregular cycle so it was always tricky to know when I was actually overdue) just to get the bloody thing to start, and fab strong bfp! So symptoms don't necessarily mean anything either way.

Good luck! The faint positive on the First Response is really encouraging!

CBd are well known for being shite not as sensitive as say internet cheapy/semi chem/superdrug strip tests.

I swear by the cheapy ones.

Got my 'pregnant 1-2' on a cbd today! So the frer really do give you results sooner.
Delighted, but after a chemical a couple of months ago I just feel so worried its going to happen again :( just gotta get past this first week and I will feel slightly happier x

Fingers crossed for you!

It's unfortunately the downside to having access to sensitive pregnancy testing. But every successful pregnancy started from the point you're at now - no reason yours should be any different Smile
