I had a mc at the end of December and had an ERPC at the beginning of January. DH and I have DTD three times in the last two weeks.
I'm not sure when my next period is due exactly (my cycles can be a bit erratic), but had some very light bleeding last week that lasted three days - similar to implantation bleeding I had with pregnancy that ended in mc. Have been feeling a bit nauseous and very, very tired and a few other things that I have partially convinced myself are pregnancy symptoms.
So here's the thing. DH and I discussed what to do should I think I was pregnant again and agreed that I shouldn't test too early - last time I found out at 3 weeks and the waiting was excruciating, especially when things started to go wrong. I wanted to wait til my period was late before testing...but obviously as I'm not sure when my period is coming I don't know what to do.
I'm sure the 'symptoms' are just coincidental and the bleeding is nothing. I don't want to get a really early BFP again, but then if I was pregnant....what to do?!

Yes, it was a rubbish time to have it happen wasn't it. I had a mc a few years ago and it felt so much worse this time, much more emotionally scarred from it.
It was difficult this time because my pg was an accident, and secretly I did want another dc, but my DH didn't want one, and the mc I had made me want to have another even more, and it has made my DH want another even less. He was quite thoughtless when it was all happening, so it is strange that he has been careless this month with contraception, well, we will see later this week. I am sure it is me just being totally too switched on to symptom spotting. The main one being that I remember from before christmas is feeling really dizzy. The chances of me actually being pg must be really slim.
Its going to be a long week. You will need will power to last until next week. I really hope you get a positive result next week, or whenever you decide to test. Let me know what happens for you too. Is it your first dc that you are trying for? I have two already aged 4 and 6 and I know I am so lucky to have them, but I am getting to that stage when I feel its now or never, getting old and I don't want to have a regret that will linger with me forever.

Oh no! That's rubbish. Maybe it's just too early for you - I'll still be keeping my fingers crossed for you though.
I'm ok thanks, still feeling sick and have been sleeping for about ten hours a night and still feeling exhausted! Period still hasn't arrived...bought a test but am using all my willpower to avoid taking it for at least a few days yet.

Maybe it is too early. I am due tomorrow, so I think if I haven't had af by next Friday I will do another test, I have been feeling quite sick really and had a bit of a funny taste in my mouth but I think I am just being hopeful.
Hi woose - I finally caved and POAS! But it was negative. AF now 5 days late though... Think maybe the bleeding that I thought was implantation bleeding was perhaps a very light period.
Oh well, onwards and upwards. Still feeling sick so assuming I've got a virus or something. Hope I can keep it at bay in time to have a couple of glasses of wine tonight. Fancied a couple last night but didn't just in case it was positive this morning. Damn it!

Thanks Wardy. Have just done a test might have done two but I'm not saying and it was negative. Now thinking I'm clearly disturbed because I've been having all these fake pregnancy symptoms! Bizarre.
