or am i the only one who must be mad lol ?

i have 3 kids with my former partner, who died when i was 5 months pg with my youngest... its been nearly 4 years gap so far. looking to complete my family x

I am - #4 will be my last! We always wanted four.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your former partner though, especially when pregnant - I can't begin to imagine.

I had no trouble at all conceiving DC1, 2 and 3 (holding onto them was another matter with two very high risk pregnancies including multiple surgeries, and a few late first trimester losses) but I now seem to have secondary infertility as I'm onto cycle #8 and not even a sniff of a second line. Good times

Hi Ladies, I must also be mad, I have 3 DS and am ttc number 4. All 3 were conceived within 2 months and this is month 1 for #4 so hoping for some luck.
Also really sorry to hear about your loss x

i was the same... i concieved easily with each of mine, as did my sister. only my sister now cant concieve and miscarried alot, so i do get worried abit. but i came off the pill two days ago so early days yet...

sorry to hear that murder, hopefully itll happen for you soon... luckily my pregnancies have been ok, although labour has always ended in them all getting stuck x

So sorry to hear that honey - I can't imagine how tough that must have been.
You're definitely not mad - I'm also trying for my no4 this will also be my Dp's first. I have however, asked myself the same question in leaving such a big gap (eldest is 18 and youngest is 13 )

I've never TTC with the older Dc's and never before have I experienced preparing myself with tests and the prodding and poking beforehand :) but I'm determined to do it all by the book this time.
I was a little worried about my age (will be 35 later in the year) but I'm realising that it's not all bloody doom and gloom ;) as my tests prove.

Still have my fingers crossed for you murder and WHEN you do conceive I hope that you have a smoother time of it too, what you've been through sounds so difficult.

helllo everyone I am TTC 4th baby. My other DC are 6 ,4 and 6 months.
not sure if its gonna be this month for me or not just dont feel pregnant.

honey im very sorry to hear aabout ur partner ust have been so very hard especially being pregnant.

to all the other ladies who have had problems i have everything crossed that it all goes smoothly for you.

Hi sam - blimey!! you move quickly I prefer to have them close in age, I had my 3 in under 5 years, it was hard work when they were small but better now. So if my now Dp decides he want's a second he best make his mind up pretty sharpish :)

hey don oh my goodness £ under 5 im sure it was hard work. Im ok at the min cause 2DC are at school so just at home with the baby. Havent told too many people im TTC as they will say i crazy but ya know with TTC it doesnt happen as soon as you want it to although i would love it to happen this month

sambrads - Sounds similar - mine are 6, 4 and almost 2 - we wanted to have all four close together with just over two years between them.. that plan is rapidly going south! The early years are going to be tough but I am sure it's worth it in the end.

honey - sorry to hear your labours have been hard!

Thank you dondon! I hope you don't have to wait long.. and in many ways the age gap you have planned will make things a lot easier I would imagine! Babysitters!!!!

sam lets say very testing at times nothing a large glass of vino couldn't fix though but once they got older and more independent it got a lot easier.
Sod what people think/say - it's not their business.

Hi all,
So - it's getting close for me to start DTD
I've had all my results from tests checked and I'm as healthy as I'm ever going to be now :)
Just bought some ovulation predictor strips to help me and have to start using them tomorrow.
Dp wants to try and use Dr Shettles method for conceiving a boy but we'll see. I'm not bothered really so long as it's healthy but being his first I think he's hoping for an heir :) doesn't hurt to try and is quite simple rules really. I've already made my body more alkaline (currently I'm neutral) which is a positive thing as Y sperms don't like an acid environment...apparently!?!
Wish me luck.

Any updates from the rest of you?
boob what about you - has AF arrived yet?

haha theboob i bet he does whats life like with four? is it much different than 3?

it was hard, but his sis and my sis were at dd's birth so i wasnt alone.

so nice to see others ttc #4

its a delight ! older dc adore youngest , they are very good kids and my house is mostly quiet and calm .....friends with 2 kids have no idea how i do it lol
