Hi, just wanted to invite anyone who might be interested to join my symptom spotting. I really try not to symptom spot but this month I actually have symptoms so I'm a bit more hopeful. Ok so far
6DPO - Pinky brown CM and light cramps
7DPO - Cm turns a bit yellowy
8DPO - Odd taste in my mouth, like I can taste my fillings, I wrote this off as me being odd.
9DPO - Very obvious taste in my mouth, again like I can taste my fillings, plus lots of excess saliva, kept having to swallow lots of saliva which made me feel a bit nauseous. Light cramping.
10DPO - Dark dark brown when I wiped (sorry for TMI) but nothing on knicks. still have odd taste in my mouth.
I am still way too early to test but just wondered if anyone had any experience with these symptoms before. The spotting I know could be anything but I'm interested to know why I have such an odd taste in my mouth and why on earth I am producing so much damn saliva! Confused

Apparently the metallic taste is a symptom of early pg. I've read that on quite a few websites. No idea why though!

The metallic taste was a giveaway for me when I was pg with DC2, as I remembered it from being pg with DC1. Tested on the day I should have had my period and lo, there was the double line. The doctor looked at me Hmm when I told him.

Try not to obsess too much though, I know it's hard, but that way madness lies and way too much time in the loo checking your knickers. Good luck, OP.

thanks bluey how long did you habe the odd taste for, mine was bad for 2 or 3 days and now its much less, I wondered if it was a surge of hormones around implantation? Im not sure the clot can be a good sign though. I try so hard not to obsess but we are trying for our first and its so so hard.
My best buddy is a doctor and I asked her about it last night, she said either deficient in iron or it can be a preggo symptom......FX!!!

so now I think this month might be a right off, here are the positive signs....I have had mild abdominal cramps twitches on and off for about 5 days, the metallic taste which was immense for 24 hours has faded massivly although it still comes and goes, I'm more tired than usual and my boobs are more sensitive than usual....BUT I've had brown cm which I thought could be implantation at first but I had it on 4 seperate days so I doubt that, plus I've had small, say about the size of an apple pip, sized clots on three different occassions, that cant be a good sign. AF isnt due till 1 feb so I have another 4 days to wait but im not hopeful anymore. Sad

You never know until you POAS.

Please try not to stress too much about symptoms - I know it's hard, been there done that. But if you are pg then you will have 9 months of stressing. I was worried when I got morning sickness, then worried more when it disappeared. FWIW, and it doesn't mean much, my metallic taste did go but not for a while.

Hang on in there for Friday.
