Need to test!!

Arg, I need to test so badly it's driving me crazy! I had my ovulation around the 4th/5th of this month, and DTD. Well since then I have had abdominal cramping, which I never normally get, a ridiculous amount of mucus (sorry tmi), moodiness, and increased need to poo (again sorry TMI!).

My period isn't due until the 21st - 24th though. But I want to test so bad, we are TTC. So anyway, does it sound like I could be preggers? Fingers crossed!

Good luck Sparkly but hang in there few a few more days :-)
I understand how frustrating/exciting the wait is!

Thanks, I'm trying my hardest to wait and not think about it. Forgot to say, things are smelling weird to me, and when I eat or drink certain things they don't taste 'right' like a cup of coffee, it tastes all metallic and weird and smells that way to...

Ooh the smell was significant for me. Have you been ttc long? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. X

Only a couple of months. We have one DD, but she was unexpected! So I've not gone through the crazy waiting to test before!

I'm not looking forward to that bit. we have 2 dd's - both inexpected but planning #3 and I am not patient!
How do these symptoms compare to last time? or did you notice anything so early last time is it was unexpected?

The only thing I noticed last time was feeling hungry, nothing like this, but I don't think I'd have noticed anyway. In a lot of ways DD being unexpected was a lot easier, but I am really looking forward to being excited over a positive test instead of an 'omg what shall we do?'!

My sense of smell is definitely going wakey today, its like its hyper sensitive, but also 'wrong' if you know what I mean.

Good luck with #3

Hmmm, it sounds hopeful. Aren't there tests you can do a couple of days before you are due? It might still be too early but i wouldn't be able to wait if it were me. I really hope you are!! :)

Feels like I'm going to say the wrong thing but I thought it was fine to test at 10 dpo? Periods range widely but what doesn't range wildly is the dpo, and you're, what, about 13 dpo??? I'm a tester. I think it's a personal choice though, it's the difference between waiting for Christmas to open your presents and tackling the chores early so that you're time is freed up to do other stuff.

Arg, got up in the night several times needing the toilet, so have no 'first morning wee', so no test till tomorrow. Arg so annoying. Will keep you all updated.

Well just tested and got a BFN. Looked at the box and I bought first response 1 step tests, not the early ones. Looked it up and they have a sensitivity of 100 unlike the 25 of other tests, so this could be why.

Going to buy a different test later or Monday and fingers crossed.

At least the facing has brought you closer to being able to test and expect a good result. :/
It must be nerve wracking tho. Fingers x
