Hello guys
I'm now 5 days late and have been doing first thing testing and still no getting the BFP I want so badly so any ideas what's happening I did ask a doctor I know why it isn't and she said its too early but all the tests say from the day of your missed period ?
Help am I just being inpatient

you must have ovulated later in your cycle - and your period is not due yet.
or you could be pg, but for the same reason test won't show it yet as you are less then 2 weeks pregnant IYKWIM
happened to us, DH had a lovely Friday evening, thinking better today as period's due tomorrow, but I got pregnant instead as my ovulation was delayed by 2 weeks (due to illness/stress/run down body etc).
therefore even being 2 weeks late test was still negative!!!!
I had a positive result only 3 weeks after missed period and was definitely pregnant - my beautiful blonde DS2 is now 9 years old!
so there's hope yet - in fact if you've been ill or any other things may have caused a delay in your ovulation you could even be ovulating now!
you could test that and TTC?
best thing is not to obsess, I'd take 1 pregnancy test every 3 days only until either positive result shows or you have a period.
(compared to 9 months pregnancy another 2+ weeks of patience is child play! and good practice!!!

honey, you should have started with that, that sound suspiciously like good news!
and falling down the stairs would not have made any difference to fertility/conception/embryo - although it is a shock to your system, so could have delayed your ovulation!
(basically if anything stressful happens to you, even things like travelling or taking an exam, your body thinks " hang on, that's not good, let's just delay the egg/s, coz this would not be an optimal time for pregnancy, future mum is a bit preoccupied!" hence the common wisdom, that stress is the biggest enemy when TTC!!!!!)
with my DS5 we had our night time fun - the next day I kid you not I was very nauseous and just knew it!
with DS3 I had bad stomach cramps within half an hour of sex and the cramps/period like pain lasted for 2 weeks!
it turned out the timing was perfect (by accident mind you, DS was only 8 months and I was still bf, so didn't even have periods yet!) and the pain was due to the uterine cramps, which often mark the early weeks of pregnancy as the uterine lining grows thick, stretching the organ.
(I actually had that pain with DS5 really badly, then a bit milder with DD)

I am in the same boat I am 3 days late and still a BFN
been having a bit of cramping and feeling bloated. So I hope so =]. Please tell us if you are lucky =]. X

mrsdsquared - clue is in the title - 6 kids in 12 years! (and I had a MC as well, so 7 pregnancies actually!)
DS2, DS3 and DS5 were all conceived with just one try each (in case of DS2 and DS3 we didn't even try, but I know when I got pg!!!!)
we blame iton DH's super sperm, he's one of 4 brothers and they (we ) have 24 children combined! so it runs in the family I guess - we do joke that some of them were a mere high 5 or just a wave hello!
it will come up on the test, but for reason mention in previous posts, you might have to wait for 3 weeks or so for it to show!

Nope still no bfn for me either but still no AF will be a week late tomorrow so will test again in morning ! If no result I might call the go for a blood test x

I am either 5 or 8 days late now (due to my odd cycle lengths) and i have had 4 BFNs 
and last week i had a car crash, which was a shock to the system to say the least. Although it was a gentle one.
All i want is a BFP.
I also have had the most sensitive nipples 
and i am becoming sensitive to smells, and foods i once loved.
