Brown Spotting - AF Late

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this.

AF was due tuesday but it hasn't started. I have had brown/pink spotting for the past 2 days. Very very light - maybe just once per day.

AF always starts 14dpo like clockwork. Never been longer. Today I am 16 dpo.

Tested on Monday which would have been 13 dpo and it was BFN.

Yes, I do - I was expecting my period as I had pink/brown spotting. I still had this, on and off, for about 5 days after I was due on. I tested just for the sake of it, really, as I was so sure I'd get my period.

Anyway, it was positive! And DD2 is now almost 8mo Grin

Btw, I spotted (lightly) like that throughout my first trimester with her.

Thanks for your response molotov. I don't hold out much hope but I am going to test later just to know either way.

Did you know that it is best to wait about one week after AF is due to get an accurate reading?

Good luck to you x

You could have ovulated later, happend to me last month, normally ovulate day 14 with a 14 day lp phase making my cycles 28 days However day before my period was supposed to be due I tested was negative so I thought nope Defo not preg, then I thought back to the cramps and ewcm which occured 16/17 of my cycle so thought lovely be due on Fri or sat, re tested fri and it was posative. Wait a few days and re test :) xx
