anyone experienced implantation cramps and spotting?

Ok so i always thought the whole implantation bleeding etc was just a myth as never experienced it with dd and no one i know has experienced it either.

Anyway here i am now hoping more than ever that its true and fairly common!

The first day of my last period was 19/11 which lasted just under a week. Me and DP are actively ttc so have been having rumpy pumpy every 2 days. Today i have experienced ever so slight cramping and very slight pink spotting only seen when wiping.

My periods are always pretty regular so im not expecting to come on just yet...not until 17/12.

Could this be the mysterious implantation symptoms ive been reading of?!

Someone please give me comments/experiences....

The thing that is making me think it may just be my period come early is that i feel very bloated.

Ok...ive just cried reading some other 'ttc' threads as i just want this sooo much. DD is only 7 months old so im sure alot of you think we're mad for wanting another so soon. But we both reeeaaalllyyy want this.

Does anyone know if the whole 'you are most fertile in the year after childbirth' statement is true?

Hi,

I don't know about the most fertile myth but I can tell you about my experience.

With DS1, I didn't have any bloating/cramping or spotting. The only thing I noticed was that I could smell everything more intensely.

With DS2, I had period like cramps and had about 4 days of red spotting, I was very worried and thought the pregnancy wouldn't continue.
DS2 is now snoozing on my lap,so all is well.

Are you breasfeeding?
It's quite soon that your periods have returned, are they regular?
It's probably too early to get symptoms yet. I had symptoms at 3 weeks.

Good luck.

I thought I was getting my period when I was pregnant with dd - no spotting but definite cramps and thought 'oh well - not this time'. Must have been implantation pains and was very soon after conception (3-4 weeks pregnant)

Good luck

I had quite light AF style cramps and red spotting at 8DPO and then brown spotting at 11DPO. I got BFP at 12 DPO. I assume one of the two occasions was implantation and the other one is just unexplained!

I have my fingers crossed for you Xmas Smile

Yes for both pregnancies. Spotting only, thought my period was early.

Thanks everyone :-) No im not breastfeeding. Formula fed the whole time.

The little devil inside me is saying that its too early for implantation to be occuring if that is what this is. As its only been 2 and a bit weeks since my period started. Even if i have conceived i dont think implantation will be occuring just yet :-(

Only time will tell i suppose x

It all depends on when you ovulate so you never know it could have been early, they do say the fertalised egg floats around for around 4 days before traveling to implant so in theory it can take between 6-12 post ovulation for implantation to occur, but I guess it could be sometime either way. I had cramps all 3 times bout a week or so before period but just thought it was af as I get pains anyway, but I don't know something felt different about them. Good luck :) xx

Fitzgerald - has the spotting continued? A lot of women experience spotting and mistake it for their period, and then find they are pregnant. this happened to my friend last year, and now she has a healthy DD.
Has anyone else experienced period type pains/cramps, and then go on to have a BFP?

I had a intense, can only describe it as a sting, in my uterus 6 days dpo. No bleeding though. I vaguely remember the same thing with DS, but wasn't really paying attention at the time, because wasn't really ttc.

So hoping it was implantation.

Ok....so im just getting ready for a xmas night out with a glass of wine and for some reason i decided to have a look at the bfn digital test again. I took the test strip out and can see an ever so faint line....is this maybe why the digi test read not pregnant?? Does it have to be a bold line for it to say pregnant?? Experiences please?!

Hurry up monday!
