Lovely new positive thread. Thanks winkle enjoy the shagging. Has the ewcm coincided with a positive on your machine?

Report
winkle2 · 01/10/2012 22:31

My machine says high. It will prob say peak tomorrow morning. Interested to see if the soy I took works this month. Apparently 77% of women get preg the first month they take it!

I'm fascinated by the soy, winkle. Do you feel any different? I'm too much of a wuss to take it after reading about causing hormone imbalance. :-/

Just DTD to hopefully catch that egg if we haven't already. Fx :-)

Ah yes, this is better! Amazing what a full night's sleep can do too!
Hope everyone has a good day despite the weather.
Also hope they find the 5 yr old in Wales very soon.

Oooh, nice new thread!
77% get pregnant first time with soy? Theres got to be a catch there or else we'd all be doing it, and I've never heard that one before
Lets hope for lots of BFPs on this thread, I am hopeful for this month and the 2ww is going to seem forever as dh has been amazingly cooperative, not quite sure whats got into him or if its just a magic combination of a holiday and secret lubeing! Not sure if I'll feel worse when AF comes if I'll feel hopeful though so mustn't obsess about it. Really. must. not. obsess.

Report
Lolcbcblemonlime · 02/10/2012 08:18

Lets not obsess together tea! I'm not even at ov yet! Are you secretly using lube? Me too Blush. DH is impressed at how horny I have suddenly become Grin

Report
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 02/10/2012 08:31

I am blatantly using lube...we've been trying to work out what to call it. Straight up, no messing goo is one name! :-)

This cycle is the first where we've really tried: more sex and Conceive Plus! See what happens. Would rather not have AF on my wedding day, so would be useful to be upduffed!

I saw the news about that girl, resipsa. Just awful. :-(

Glad you feel better after sleep.

Report
teaandcakesolveseverything · 02/10/2012 08:47

Me too, secretly lubeing, no idea if hes twigged at all but its certainly working! His complaint before was that I didn't seem perticularly turned on when I had been acting like I was gagging for it and trying to seduce him for the last half an hour and not letting him read the paper like he wanted too. I somehow managed to restrain myself from telling him that I was actually making an effort to get this baby we both apparently want, and literally having to beg your dh for sex is the total opposite of a turn on in itself!
yup lol, obsessing is bad, I for the first time haven't worked out the date that AF will come, though as it comes closer I might lose the resolve. I can't test, AF turning up is somehow less upsetting than a total lack of a second line

Hi everyone - hope this is the thread that we all get BFPs that stick!

winkle I hope that the soy works

We've been using conceive plus for the first time nic - really like it! Hopefully it helps.

resipsa it's horrible about that little girl - I really hope that they find her.

So, started using CB digital ov sticks yesterday for first time - got a smiley - this is CD10 but it is a wtf cycle. So, how soon after the smiley do you ov? And when does my 2ww start?

Report
teaandcakesolveseverything · 02/10/2012 08:49

Knick, I just managed to avoid AF on my wedding day, it sadly stopped the honeymoon from being quite such a shagathon, so fx for a BFP to stop it for you!

Report
winkle2 · 02/10/2012 08:53

Still no peak but I remembered this morning that I didn't use the monitor last month as I ran out of sticks so that might be the reason no OV showing yet.

Nic - I was reluctant to take anything for TTC too but after a year I'll try anything!! Had a couple of headaches last week and a few extra spots but that could be anything and no necessarily down to the soy.

Tea - that was a stat I read but it might have just been from the girls who had taken it on the other board I sometimes read.

Just popped on to say hello to winkle, repisa and whenshewasbad Grin

We were all hanging out on the April/May/June threads and then I got my BFP....and then I had mmc at the end of July :(

Just started ttc again over the last few weeks, since had to have erpc done and cycle after that was completely wtf! Hoping things are going back to normal a bit now, I'd love to get a BFP again before we hit 2013. Sigh. Anyway, no idea cos of stupid pcos whether i have actually ov this month but i'm on cd21 and we've managed to dtd 10 times in last 17 days so fingers flipping crossed! Winkle, I have also been winkling!

How are you ladies all doing???

weechops · 02/10/2012 09:03

Marking my spot girls :) Hoping this is the lucky fred for us all. Af due tomorrow and I'm getting cramps, ah well. At least October is a long month so I might still get a bfp at the end of October!

Hi everyone. Well done winkle, your new thread has really injected some positivity!
woody you've asked the million dollar question. If I knew how soon after smiley it happened, I wouldn't be at work, I'd be selling the secret online to all the TTCers out there! General wisdom is within 12-48 hours with 36 hours being the most "popular". For what it's worth, both times I've been pregnant, we DTD on day of and after smiley. Hoping to get mine today too but on CD20 here!!!

resipsa · 02/10/2012 09:49

LittleMiss so sorry, it sucks (was there in March myself) but hope you get lucky again soon. Oh, and me too!

Report
Kittenkatzen · 02/10/2012 09:50

here you are! thanks for the shiny new fred winkle :)

I'm also keeping one eye on the soy situation - if it's that good then I shall be giving that a go in the new year if necessary which it won't be as i'll definitely be upduffed before then

Report
DizzyPurple · 02/10/2012 09:57

Hello all. Mind if i join you? Ttc 18 months so far but ever hopeful! Well the days i've not given up anyway. What's the soy thing?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 02/10/2012 09:58

That's a nice quick smiley woody congrats on that, lots of dtd for you then. I am on cd 11 today and haven't even started the opks yet (am trying to be more chilled out this month - we'll see how long that lasts).

littlemiss hi I remember seeing you we're back on the conception boards a few weeks ago, I'm really sorry about the mc.

Yeah, this seems like a nice positive thread, go winkle!

I found month after mc was kind of ok, I was up to my eyes in moving house, money stress and things happening in work (i decided not to take any time off after mc because i'd had loads off with hyperemesis). All the stuff going on was very stressful but it took my mind off stuff and i just had to get on with it. September was tough going tho... But here we are in a nice shiny new month and a nice shiney new thread and hopefully good luck for all who sail in her Grin

To continue the positive vibe. Clearblue opks are still £3.88 for a pack of 7. Total bargain - no more squinting at cheap Internet opks for me. Although I will have to quit my 4 a day habit. Smile
