Happy New Year.

A shiny new thread for 2012 and so many chances to win.

Good luck!

Oh very good.

I have a question, I have often wondered this about these threads. If one was lucky enough to win a MN competition not that it ever happens to me grr, would you also pm/email us? Or do we have to obsessively check on this thread or lose the prize?

Boohoo no win again (grrrrr)

RachelMumsnet still haven't heard anything about the eagerly awaited India Knight books via Penguin - too late for DW's Christmas pressie so might have to wait for Christmas 2012 :-)

Do you know..... I recognise none of those usernames!! How odd

But there are probably tens of thousands of Mumsnetters so even those who aren't very active do stand a chance of winning sometime.....

So sorry to hear this - I know other winners have been sent their books before Christmas so I will chase this right away.

Thank you. We had a Yellow Moon order that didn't ever show up either...so wondering if there is a problem with our sorting office...

Thanks Rachel - think we had the gremlins with us before Christmas. DW has just had to chase an M&S refund that they 'forgot' to refund! Hope 2012 will be better!

I'm new to these competitions, its one entry per person right? Or is everyone else entering a thousand times....? Grin

What happens if you win but you have changed your user name since you entered? Do you use our email details?

Report
ShadeMumsnet · 18/01/2012 16:46

Even if your username has changed we'll still be able to find you in the system. If you decide to change your username and email address at the same time, then it gets trickier. Not impossible, just...trickier.

Hi Rachel, any news about the books? Have just had a letter from Yellow Moon saying my missing parcel was sent back to them (it was originally dispatched in mid-November) - know we didn't have any outstanding notes for redeliveries so assuming that the Postie (doing van deliveries for larger items) didn't bother to put a note through the letter box or it got caught up in unsolicited mail and was put straight into recycling! So the parcel was sitting uncollected and unloved (unbeknownst to us) at the Sorting Office for nearly two months! So presuming that the India Knight novels could have had a similar fate? Do you know when they were sent out - just wondering whether it's worth us going to check at the sorting office?
