We live in a lovely part of London in a gated community. We have a 5 bed flat with private garden and communal gardens which include tennis courts and a children's playground. We have recently cottoned on to the idea of house swapping and have joined some house swap websites.

However, what we really want is to swap with a family with similar aged children and it's hard to find them on those websites. We have dd 3.5, dd 19mo and ds 4 mo. The girls rooms are a bit girly and so are some of the toys / dressing up box etc. We have all the baby kit available too.

We would love to spend a week / weekend away in country or by the sea. Anyone keen?

I have never thought of house swapping until now. Would you be interested in February half term? I have just posted a note on this website with details - we live near Brighton in Shoreham by Sea right in the centre of the small town, by the train station. Where in London are you located?

I'm only going back to work in Feb so can't take leave straight away. How about nearer easter or summer half term?

So sorry but at the moment we can only get time off work in the February half term until August. Perhaps another time. Good luck in returning to work.

Hi hoho, we're in a large 4 bed house in Devon, with one 16month old dd. Not quite as many toys or girly things as yet though , but we do have a few animals (who might need looking after if you didn't mind? though would give dog to my mum )

our town is an award winning market town with a lovely indoor market, quaint (but pricey) shops and lots of nice pubs/cafes. Our house about half an hour from the nearest beach, 10 minute walk from the moorland where there are wild ponies, sheep and cows, and 15 minute walk from our local play park with swimming pool. We're also fairly close to 2 cities....

let me know if you're interested, it really is a lovely house and area - i'd live here if i were me

Anyone still there?

We are still on for a swap. We live in West Hampstead - which has the feel of a small town even though it's in zone 2.

The children are all a year older now and we are now restricted to school hoidays.

Anyone for Feb half term / easter / summer half term??
