What age should the second batch of MMR be given?

Dd had hers at 3.5.

Ds2 was 4.5 when he was given an appointment for his.

It's not a booster, it's exactly the same vaccine given two or three years later.

So it's moved earlier: it used to be 4 to 5.

My Ds had his first at 15m, bit late, and his 2nd one was supposed to be 5months later. When I took him in, they said the rules had changed in April this year and the second MMR is now done with their pre-school vaccines. She said different areas had had different rules, but now guidelines had changed.I was a bit confused cos it does mean they are still not 100% covered( so she said) and he had 2nd one then.

it is given any time from 3 years 4 months old. Does your clinic automatically send out appointments (mine does) or do you have to make your own?
