My 4 year old ds has just got his Willy caught by the falling toilet seat, has this happened to any of yours?

Even though I have cautioned him not to, he still lets the toilet seat just drop down after he has finished his wee, and tonight he got his Willy hit by the falling lid.
He screamed his head off poor thing, but now has a blood blister on the end of his Willy. He has stopped crying but I am a bit worried about pain when he next urinates. Has any one else's son done this?

My DS did, but fortunately it was just a glancing blow and he didn't have any bruising. I'm sure he'll be fine, although he'll probably not be keen on tight underwear for a bit. A blood blister is closed so he shouldn't have any stinging when he next wees, but if it actually blocks the flow then you may have to see a GP in case the blister needs to be drained.

Poor little lamb.

Yes DS did it just the other week It looked really sore for a couple of days. I visited my mum in this time and my SIL's bridesmaids came round for a fitting - he insisted on showing them. Bless them for a couple of young girls they were very sweet with him

No but I once took my nephew to the toilet at a hairdressers while she was having her hair cut. I lifted the seat and DN laid his willy on the edge of the toilet to pee - he was too short to do anything else. When I let go of the seat, assuming it would stand upright, it fell straight back down. I was amazed he didn't yell, but luckily the seat had rubber feet underneath, which left just enough room for his willy to fit underneath.

I expect it's pretty common, he has gone to bed now but I will see if he can wee in the morning. This blood blister came up immediately, but maybe thats what blood blisters do Now that he has got over the pain, he is pretty proud of it His brothers haven't got to that male age where any injury to a penis makes them automatically wince and cup themselves so they too are quite impressed.
I think he will be more careful in future though.

A friends CM's son recently did the same thing. Ended up quite serious and had to have an operation, so get him checked out at the doctors.

My ds tripped over rushing to the loo and caught his willy in his trousers zip. Started bleeding a bit so took him to hosp just in case - he was fine though a bit scared for about a week about going to the toilet again as it stung when he did a wee.
